Our people

Petr Čížek

Advocate | partner

Following studies at the Charles University in Prague, Petr started to work in advocacy in 1996. His practice included the work in one of the largest Dublin law firms in Ireland and in Prague office of a well-established UK law firm. From 2004 he runs his own practice where he focuses mainly on startup businesses and small and medium entrepreneurs. Petr is the author of business websites www.FormCompany.eu and www.LawyerOnline.cz. He also lectures on university and business seminars on the topic of setting up business. He is fluent in English and also speaks Russian.

Vladimír Novotný

Following studies at the Charles University in Prague, Vladimir started his advocacy practice in 1994. His previous engagement included the work in Prague offices of several German based international law firms. Since 2002 he works as the independent advocate. Vladimir specialises mainly on the real estate law, corporations, contractual law, debt collection and other court agenda and cross-border (German) matters. He is fluent in German and can also speak English and Russian.

Jana Pilařová

Tax advisor

Jana graduated at the University of Economics, Prague and is the member of the Czech Chamber of Tax Advisors since 1999. She previously worked in the tax departments of the "Big Five" and a US law firm local offices. She also headed the Czech branch of an international trust company. Apart from common tax areas (corporate and personal taxes, VAT) she also has extensive knowledge in international tax planning, transfer pricing and advising clients in disputes with financial offices. She is well-oriented not only in the corporate sector, but also serves e.g. to non-profit organizations or farming clients. Jana is fluent in English and can also speak German and Italian.
